Pay It Forward Fund

touch of kindness

Pay-it-forward means more oncology massage, lymphedema, lipedema, and transgender care for more people.

There was a pizza place in Philadelphia – Rosa’s Fresh Pizza – where you could buy a slice of pizza for someone in need in the community. It’s anonymous, it’s on the honor system, and anyone could come in at any time and receive a slice of pizza that was already paid for by someone else – no questions asked. We thought: “Could we do the same thing in our massage and occupational therapy practice?”

Touch of Kindness models this same idea. It’s a pay-it-forward fund that folks can donate to, and there are sticky notes on our treatment room walls with all the different donated denominations on them that can be used just like cash. On our website, you’ll always be able to see how much is available in the fund at any time. Anyone can contribute to this pool of resources, and anyone can use money from the fund toward treatment sessions with us. No questions asked. And it’s not an all-or-nothing thing; you can use whatever amount you’d like toward the cost of a session.

We don’t accept gratuities in our practice. If you’d like to say thanks, we’d love if you put that money into the Touch of Kindness fund instead so someone else can receive massage or occupational therapy who might not otherwise have been able to.

Pay it forward. Spread the word.

Click on the “Donate” button below, and on the next page, enter the amount you wish to pay forward so someone with cancer, cancer history, lymphedema, or lipedema or a transgender client can receive a discounted or no-cost massage or occupational therapy treatment.

Questions? We’d love to hear from you. You can email us at info@onerivermassage.com.

Thank you!

*Please allow up to one business day for your donation to be reflected in the total.
