Jaclyn Delrosario received her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
at Quinnipiac University. In 2017, Jaclyn became certified as a
Lymphedema Therapist and since has been devoted to the emerging
field of Oncology Rehab. She has an extreme passion for providing
rehabilitation for patients with all cancer diagnoses, in all phases of
treatment. Jaclyn believes that therapy is a crucial piece of cancer care
that empowers patients to be able to take on an active role in their
recovery. She has specialized skills in treating lymphedema, lipedema,
scar management, manual lymph drainage massage (MLD), Axillary
Web Syndrome, breast cancer rehabilitation, pain management,
compression wrapping for full complete decongestive treatment (CDT),
fitting for compression garments; including pneumatic compression
devices, and overall education to improve functional movement and
overall quality of life.
As an Occupational Therapist, Jaclyn uses a holistic approach, dedicating
her services to be patient-centered. They are designed for improving
overall health, well-being and functional abilities to support individuals
to engage in desired and meaningful everyday activities. She is very
passionate about addressing not just your immediate needs, but focuses
on providing tools that can be utilized within your home environment to
prevent similar limitations or symptoms from returning. She is
dedicated to helping each individual determine the best tools that fit
within their routine to be able to self manage their chronic condition.
She determines beneficial therapeutic exercises to gain and maintain
functional range of motion, mobility and strength. Through her manual
techniques she is able to help with alleviating pain, joint and muscle
issues, and manage swelling through full decongestive therapy.
